Zambia – 54.3 MW Bangweulu Power Company (2018)

LinkVue provided an end-to-end security integration solution for the Bangweulu Power Company’s 54.3 MW solar facility in Zambia. The project required robust camera coverage across large open terrains exposed to varying weather conditions.

High-definition IP cameras were installed along the perimeters, substations, and control rooms. Intelligent intrusion detection systems were integrated to prevent unauthorized access to restricted zones.

We implemented advanced network security to ensure smooth communication between field devices and the central command center. Access control systems were deployed for both on-site staff and maintenance personnel.

A surveillance management system was designed for 24/7 monitoring with real-time alerts. Routine maintenance protocols were also established to minimize downtime. This project significantly strengthened the operational resilience of Zambia’s largest solar asset.
